GRAND'MA HEALING SWAG offers restorative justice opportunities for incarcerated women who have a history of addiction, adolescent trauma, losing a child to the foster care system or the streets, neglect and abandonment issues, domestic verbal abuse and physical violence, and the psychological trauma that comes from these negative interactions.

Through our restorative justice program, we provide a safe space for incarcerated females to heal from their past traumas and reclaim their sense of self-worth and empowerment. We offer support groups and therapeutic activities to help women address their addiction, process their adolescent trauma, and navigate the complexities of losing a child to the foster care system or the streets.

At GRAND'MA HEALING SWAG, we understand the deep impact of neglect, abandonment, domestic abuse, and violence on an individual's mental health. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to helping these women heal from their psychological wounds and build a brighter future for themselves. By offering holistic healing approaches and personalized care, we aim to empower these individuals to break free from the cycle of trauma and create a life filled with hope, resilience, and self-love.

A Message From Antoinette

I understand the painful tragedy of having loved ones taken by gun violence because my two grandchildren (pictured left) were killed in the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was searching for a support group to help me with my healing journey and to cope with the death of my granddaughter. That was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I never did find that needle, so I decided to be my own needle.

I began meeting with state representatives and lawmakers to talk with them about the safety and the healing for survivors of gun violence. I volunteer with MOMS DEMAND ACTION, which provides support for survivors of gun violence.

After losing a loved one, you may always carry sadness and miss the person who has died. But many are able to find meaning and experience pleasure again. Some people even find new wisdom and strength after loss. I found myself again - not the same version of me, but a stronger version.
